This past weekend we participated in Global Game Jam!  It is as described from the site (http://globalgamejam.org/about): “The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world’s largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development. It is the growth of an idea that in today’s heavily connected world, we could come together, be creative, share experiences and express ourselves in a multitude of ways using video games – it is very universal. The weekend stirs a global creative buzz in games, while at the same time exploring the process of development, be it programming, iterative design, narrative exploration or artistic expression. It is all condensed into a 48 hour development cycle. The GGJ encourages people with all kinds of backgrounds to participate and contribute to this global spread of game development and creativity.”

Hello Everyone! It’s been awhile since we have posted, but we are happy to report that work on our largest project, “Wizard’s Peril”, has been going swimmingly! We are not participating in #OneGameaMonth this year so that we can release new versions of WP on a monthly basis. We are also hoping to have a new website up and running with all of our 2013 flash games imbedded–that way it’ll be a bit more accessible to you guys. Finally, this weekend from 1/24/2014-1/26/2014, the Cavern Lore team will be participating in the Global Game Jam! We will link you all to our game via the Game Jam Website most likely Sunday night/Monday morning. Wish us luck!1469750_10152133303521257_550776615_n (One of our team, being pumped for the Global Game Jam!!)
